After holding a 188 visa for 3–4 years and meeting requirements, you can apply for the permanent Business Innovation and Investment visa (subclass 888).
Requirements
- 1Be nominated by an Australian state or territory
- 2Meet the specific requirements for your chosen stream (Business Innovation, Investor, or Significant Investor)
- 3Have a successful business or investment track record
- 4Business Innovation: net business and personal assets of at least $1.25 million
- 5Investor stream: $2.5 million in designated investments
